What happens next is up to YOU!

....but it's not always that easy to see the trees for the forest!

Many years ago, I was working successfully as a project and programme manager. I had fallen into that field of work after finishing my degree because some wonderful people had pointed out my aptitude for this type of work (you can see why I am such an advocate for giving empowering feedback)! I am still so grateful for that wonderful team at what was then called 'British Gas Trading' (now Centrica). 

They also showed me how to work as an independent contractor in this field and I pretty much stayed within this field, with many, many variations on the same theme, until a few years ago.

I was really good at this! Organised, able to see big picture and small detail, I ended up repeatedly leading projects or programmes that were stuck. I got them out of the quick sand of confusion and difficulty, build strong teams to work together and delivered with high results.

Theoretically, all was brilliant....but I was not happy and didn't feel fulfilled.

Then, about 5 years ago, after some COACHING, I had a eureka-moment: What really fulfilled me in all this was seeing my team members build confidence, grow and thrive! 

So, I took the brave (mad, bonkers, wild, very independent) step out of my known career to focus on DEVELOPING OTHERS only!

That's how today I work as a qualified coach and trainer...and I LOVE IT - I am totally fulfilled an happy with my work!
